TheWiener.Dog is an independent, solo-run comparison site for dachshund owners — starting with pet insurance and IVDD coverage, with health, gear, and travel content planned as the site grows.

It exists because dachshund owners keep hitting the same wall: insurers write about hereditary and pre-existing conditions in dense, inconsistent language, and it's genuinely hard to compare one policy against another without reading every PDF yourself. So that's what we do — read the actual policy documents, quote the exact clause that matters, date when we checked it, and let you compare the results.
